The names of the songs are programmed into the XML file, that needs to be changed if you want all the song names...

Well to hear some songs out of sappy:

open sappy
file/open and select rom
In the upper part you will see 'song' and 1. You just have to search number to number and press play to see if there's anything.
You can then adjust the speed (though you shouldn't) and select which tracks you want to hear (it basically lets you hear separated parts of the song.)

Anyhow, I've found that from 100 to 130 (something, just try), 200 to 225, 300 to 330 (try here too), and 400 to 4ish something, you'l find sog tracks.

At 100 you've mainly got some explosion and other effects sound. 200 to 219 are the AW1 COs themes and more. (219 = Sturm), 301, 302, 303 features Lash, Hachi and Sensei. 401 has got Adder, 402 had got Hawke, and there's a whole lot of other stuff here.

That gba2mid is hilarious though! It's just incredibly fun to see the CO themes converted with the freaky instruments. :D

If you want the song numbers, without the XML just go to the random lists of stuff topic.

Find the songs, and look at their ID. Then reverse the byte order. Then convert it back to Decimal.

Eg: D100 - Andy's Theme.

00D1...

209...

Then, song 209 should be Andy's theme.

Shove that in the xml file and both the European rom and the US rom should have thier song names in Sappy, make sure that this is in between a closed rom tag and an opening one, and delete Kawa's old incomplete one...

Or if you want it the easy way, download this xml file and save it over the existing one in the sappy folder.

The only problem was that the ROM code was incorrect in the XML file. ALl you have to do is open up you ROM of AW2 in a Hex Editor, look at the rom code (It should be near the beginning), and repalce AW2P with it.
Only in math can you buy 600 cantaloupes and not look like a nutter.

OK so we can't put our own music in the game since that the guy will not give us the midi to gb converter.

But if you could put midis on to you homemade rom, could you extract it using the Sappy editor and replace it with another song.

Well go to the following link to download a demo which has a Midi on there.

http://www.mqp.com/fun/gb_midi.htm

IF the midi can be extracted then maybe we can make a rom with the midi you want, extarct it and replace it with another theme.

However the only thing I don't know how to do is write the XML.

If the above is possible then maybe we could our own rom with the midis.

Now I have found two ways makeing a rom with the midis.

1. Make a E-book (vist the above site). However you do need pay 14 pounds to register the software in order to play the midis but I am trying to find a full software that can do this.

2. Put them in a Pogshell rom. Again vist the above website to see how.

Anyother ways I have not said then do mention.
