CO Balance (my version)

I believe in the balance patch we wound up giving Andy a 3+4 bar.

Also, Sami getting rather silly defense bonuses is kinda bleh. +50 defense is ridiculous.

You nerfed Colin, but you didn't get rid of DGR?

And -1 movement cost during sidewinder is kinda ridiculous. Adder's about a very gradual mind-gamey gain on his opponents, not yackety saxing around the whole battlefield.

Double Gold Rush.

Basically, you fill your bar to the fullest, gold rush, don't spend, and then gold rush again immediately on the next turn and enjoy a stupid amount of money.

Also, Hyper Repair is amazing for fixing up units damaged by counterattacks, don't underestimate the 2hp repair!

Double Gold Rush. An ancient strategy revolving around having Colin's power bar fill up entirely, then triggering his COP two times in a row, resulting in an enormous pile of money.

I'm actually not sure how relevant that strategy still is in DS, though. Somehow I think that you might as well just pop a GR whenever you get it. You'd have to consult Gip or Sven about it, though.

kk, you couldn't do a double gold rush with a 3/3 bar, right?

Another change:

"125/125 units, +20% deployment cost."

*facepalms, then puts hand down in a knuckle and puts other hand down on the ground while kneeling and shaking head*

Then again, this guy didn't know what DGR is. He clearly hasn't been looking around or anything.

You forgot another game breaking change: Sami's 2x capture rate during COP. Which means calling it "Hell March" would be more appropriate to express is broken-ness than, per se, "Double Time".

Some of your decisions are kind of puzzling because you're giving the best COs boosts and some of the worst COs aren't.

Starting point:

Broken
Mass unit COs (Hachi, Sensei), Super stat COs (Colin, Javier 2T, Kanbei)

High
Sami, Eagle, Mass damage COs (Kindle, Rachel, Von Bolt, Olaf, Hawke, Drake)

Middle
Sonja, Recon/tank boost COs (Javier 1T, Jess, Max, Grimm), Universal +MP COs (Andy, Koal, Adder)

Low
Sasha, Luck COs (Nell, Flak, Jugger), Jake, Lash, Javier 0T, Grit

-GipFace

Any COs you have given a buff above middle don't need it and likewise any COs below middle you've given a nerf don't need it. (Assume 0T Javier)

Grit is low tier? Are you insane?

Luck COs just can't be ranked because it's based on, well, luck.

They already have a tier list, and your's is different in a lot of ways.

Grit sucks in AW3 because artillery have low tactical value. This is due to charge rate and black bomb availability.

Here is where we playtested against Grit using black bomb tactics and came to the realization that turtling just doesn't work in this game. Any arty cluster will get black bombed, so arty is only good as a 1-of or 2-of unit to reinforce your position.

Oh.

I didn't know that Drake was high tier, because he is useful only for his powers (sea not being used much). But then again, that super charge rate.
