consent by both parties to play the map because they think it's fair, and to uphold the result as representative of their skill regardless of how imbalanced the map may actually be.

How does the number of starting bases impact a map? Total bases?

How does the number of starting funds impact a map?

I usually defer to two bases plus one HQ, with 1000 funds per property, but this has gotten a bit boring. I dare say I've gotten bored of symmetrical maps, but since I have such trouble trying to create a modicum of balance on those, well, yeah.
