I certainly did. I dunno what people think of it, though. I didn't get any feedback. :(

It's almost immpossible to write reliable d2d guides for this game. The AI is too random in it's move.

Day-to-day aren't too important. They're only really useful for things like the 3-day victory on Pincer Strike, how to get past Kanbei's Error AC, or other missions like that.

Yeah, but those don't really count. Many of those totally destroy your power rating.

Actually, most day-by-day walkthroughs I know are 300 S Ranks.

No. I meant the 3-day ones like Pincer Strike, etc.

If someone can write a 300p one, and that is very hard to do, good for them.

The 3-day Pincer Strike does give you a perfect 300 S-rank.

Strange. It only got me 50 points for Power.

<_<;;;

Did you focus on killing, not crippling? Did you effectively use both tag turns to attack? Maybe you didn't position your indirects right?

I had a few people (mostly from gameFAQ) saying they did not give them 300. One idiot told me it only gave him 299 and said that was not good enough.

90% of the time it should work. What you must do is destroy units otherwise you powers score will suck. Which reminds me I must update it for the HC.

if you get a bad score the first time then just try again.

OS: Andy or Max
GE: Eagle
YC: Sensei

Andy: Hold off Hawke's forces, while Eagle rushes the north, and gets bombers towards the pipeline, or go from the south with Sensei and blast pipe with rockets.

I only remember a little bit of how I did it, but I got Kanbei to destroy the pipe seam with his rockets and his SCOP.

I remember how odd the end of that mission was for me. I believe Eagle had an 8-HP bomber. However, there was a newly built fighter ready to tear it to shreds. What did I do?

*used Lightning Drive*
*attacks pipe with bomber*
*Hawke attacks bomber with fighter, leaving it at 1 HP*
*Hawke then uses Black Storm*
*next turn I use the 1-HP bomber to blow up pipe*

Lightning Drive ftw!

My bomber would have died without the +20 defense. However, that was the HC I'm afraid. I don't have any good stories for the NC version of it.

Then you automatically phail at using Eagle. If you use Eagle's strength properly (IE, airforce), it's a very good COP. It makes you airforce almost immaculate for a turn.

Yet, Max Force utterly annihilates Lightning Drive in AW2.

Max, who is arguably underpowered, literally VOMITS over Lightning Drive.

Heck, Lightning Drive is the worst CO Power in the game. Even Terrain Tactics at it's normal 4-Star cost is more useful than it.

Movement = Win in the air. Eagle pays 3 stars to get Kanbei stats on his aircraft for 1 turn...while every other CO has a more useful CO Power.

Now, if LD had some movement, then I would agree with you. But as it is, LD is unusuable 99/100 times.

hmmm lighting drive is a pretty usefull COP in AWBW...(gives 115/115 for land units and 130/125 for air units)
http://awbw.amarriner.com/game.php?games_id=30741
this is an example a COP quite saved me from the invasion he tried to do....

It actually saved my skin in the GE mission in AW2 where you have to destroy the Air Fortress with a medium sized squad of bombers and fighters. Forgot the name.

Yeah, but that's because AWBW has crazy statistics. Kanbei is case in point. <_<;

Who does Eagle think he is? Jess? <_<

For the NC mission, I believe i used Sensei for YC, Andy for OS, and Eagle for GE.

Distract Bh with Andy and Eagle, use Sensei to build rockets to destroy pipeline from the south.

I always saved up for LS. It was more useful because I had few air units around. In the fortress map, I used LS to win.

I used Max for OS, Drake for GE, and Sensei for YC(or was it sonja?!?).

OS: tank spam after gettingbase on the island with a cannon.
GE: Bship, lander, infantry, and B copter spam to get rid of minicannons
YC: sends lander to SE island with infantry. Sends landers with A-Air, rockets, and infantry. Rockets pwn seam
some of you may know me as Mosquitox216 from AWN or CO_Kristian from AWBW and Custom Wars

I used:
OS: Andy
GE: Eagle
YC: Kanbei
I saved up on the big stuff for Kanbei, and the rockets, A-airs, cruisers, MDs, and a bunch of stuff.
I let Eagle capture everything below Andy, and he got a bomber every day, and sometimes fighters. A bunch of power from that.
For Andy, I just killed the black cannon and charged on the day I'd win.
