CCO Cooper

CCO Cooper

Description: Colin's older brother, Cooper originally wanted to go into the family business, but seeing his younger brother as a commanding officer during the Macro Land Wars inspired him to join the military as well. By then, he was already much older than most of the other cadets, at 25. Despite this, he proved to be an adept commander and rose to commanding rank within 5 years. He sees himself as a protector figure over Colin, despite having less military experience.

:miss: Computers

:skill: Coming from an extremely wealthy family allows Cooper to enjoy similar monetary benefits as Colin, as his family privately funds part of his military budget. Thus, for every property Cooper owns, he gains an extra 10% of income, 100 by default. Unlike Colin, however, he more mature and is a skilled businessman, being able to negotiate good contracts. Thus, his units suffer no firepower penalty.

Power meter: :smallstar: :smallstar: :smallstar: :bigstar: :bigstar: :bigstar: :bigstar:

:power:Cash Flow” – Cooper's family temporarily increases their military funding. Cooper gains money equal to the raw income he would collect that day, before repairs. Default firepower bonuses are applied. Note: If another Cooper player used his SCOP, this Cooper player gains the income he would have gotten BEFORE halving. So he would get half his daily income, then gain his full daily income on a COP.

:super:Market Influence” - Cooper uses his powers in the business world in order to affect the global market for military supplies, to his benefit. All of Cooper's opponents have their incomes halved for the next day, and the sum of loss funds is given to Cooper. In addition, all of his opponents suffer 1.5x unit prices for the next day. Default firepower bonuses are applied.

Power Quotes:
"You can't win a war if you don't have the business."
"Money won't buy victory, but it sure helps!"

Notes

Kind of a spinoff of Colin, with a very different play style. Colin's super low costs and weaker units encourage him to spam units, while Cooper's strategy will be to edge his opponent out with slightly higher numbers. He also has the unique power to profoundly affect money exchange for all players in one turn with his SCOP.

Basically, his D2D is identical to Sasha's. Cash Flow is either better or worse than Gold Rush in that it has less potential returns, but doesn't require you to save any cash for best results. However, being three stars unlike Gold Rush's two is a fair balancing factor, in my opinion. Market Influence is -very- powerful - between the stolen income and increased prices, your opponent can barely purchase anything on the day it's thrown down. The more opponents you have, the better it gets. For a seven-star power, it's a bit on the high end, but probably reasonable.

Not only more opponents--Cooper excels on bigger maps as well.
