CCO: Tyrell

Postby MisterVercetti » Fri Jul 16, 2010 1:08 pm

Name: Tyrell

Age: 23

Allegiance: :ge: Green Earth

Brief Bio: Tyrell was always one of the underachievers at the Green Earth Military Academy. It wasn't for lack of trying; he just couldn't get the hang of combat. As a result, the other students at the academy would always condescend to him and treat him like garbage on the bottom of their shoes. That all changed one day when, during a training exercise, Tyrell was pitted against Will, one of the academy's top students. The usually timid and high-strung Tyrell thought for sure he was doomed... but then, out of nowhere, he was suddenly overcome with a surge of confidence. The rest of the academy watched in awe as Tyrell's troops laid waste to Will's army. The commander of the academy, stunned by Tyrell's amazing victory, decided to pit him against one of the academy's newest recruits... and in that battle, just like he always had, Tyrell fell apart. His troops were no match even against the rookie's army. Then the commander got an idea. He arranged a mixture of opponents for Tyrell to face off against. Some were the Academy's most promising students, while others were fresh recruits. Against the skilled commanders, Tyrell always prevailed; against the rookies, he always choked. It was then that the commander realized Tyrell's special talent; he thrives on adversity. Knowing he'd put that talent to good use, Tyrell was promoted to full CO, and now he hopes to join the hallowed ranks of Green Earth's most revered COs.

Game Description: A usually shy and timid CO, his inner confidence tends to come out when the odds are against him.

:miss: Checkers

CO Meter: :smallstar: :smallstar: :smallstar: :smallstar: :bigstar: :bigstar: :bigstar: :bigstar:

:skill: Thrives on adversity. Troops are generally weak, but firepower rises while fighting superior units.
(Troops are usually 80/100, but when one of his units engages an enemy unit that's stronger than itself (such as a Tank fighting a Md Tank, an Artillery firing at a Rocket, or an Infantry battling anything that's not another Infantry, excluding transports), its firepower rises 50% (thus becoming 130/100).)

:power: Confidence Boost

Tyrell's troops feel more confident against the enemy. Their firepower is further boosted when fighting superior units.
(160/110 while fighting superior units, 90/110 otherwise.)

:super: Impossible Odds

Tyrell's troops become confident that they can overcome any obstacle. Movement cost for all units reduced to 1, and firepower doubles while fighting superior units.
(Movement cost for all units reduced to 1. 200/110 while fighting superior units, 100/110 otherwise.)

Well, if it isn't Edge. This CO is quite weak as is, what with that massive penalty day to day. Unit match-ups are typically blow for blow; there are only so many situations where you'd want to attack a more expensive unit (artillery versus tank) and 30 attack is not enough to offset the gaps between them (tank versus medium tank). Meanwhile, your other match-ups suffer (infantry versus infantry, artillery versus infantry).

damn, you've been busy.
on the CO, i feel the SCOP may be overpowered with 200% attack power. in doing this, it would make me want to spam tanks, inf, and artillery and take on the units that are slightly above each category. in this respect, tanks would demolish md tanks, inf on anything up to a tank, and artillery on everything else. he's unbalanced and overpowered.

That's a pretty good reason to go anywhere.

I just thought of somthing.
In his bio he worked well against good COs and poorly against the weaker ones. it doesn't seem that units had much to do with his prow`es.
what if his power ebs and flows with the enemy CO?
just a thought.
Peace out.

like, he would get less star exp. from killing enemies with a good CO, but more from bad ones?

not quite.

I meant that if the enemy CO got a boost (like durring COP, SCOP, or weather benifits) Tyrell would get a boost to minimize the enemy boost.

when enemy stats drop (like Olaf durring rain) Tyrell would weaken.
Peace out.
