Oh dammit, were those the names of the guys in Ctrl+Alt+Del? We went with names that sounded good with Kim.

I joked about naming the kids Lucas and Dawn if we had a girl, but the missus nixed that.

We have a kitty! We adopted him from a litter from a friend's cat. We named him Deku.

He's adorable:

So I'm pretty happy with how my education is going, I'm getting/got some out of curriculum things done such as short-internship at ESA and am about to start some course on critical thinking at the local university (connections are great, and having fancy sounding stuff like this hopefully will help me later in life). I'm doing an extra IB in Advanced English alongside a Cambridge Global Perspectives academic writing track so by the time I'm looking at unis I hope to have some kind of foundation. Woop.

Now to decide whether I like Groningen or Utrecht more. As fudge other countries tuitions.

The Dutch education system focuses way to much on languages with literature in particular in my opinion. But hey.

I'm also feeling a lot more happy and motivated compared to a few months ago. I may be busy as heck but I feel like I'm getting somewhere, and I'm satisfyed. It's about to become winter though bleh.

Checking in for the holdays even though I see activity is kinda low.

Things are A-OK for the most part. My cooking skills rise to even greater heights and I still perform lightsaber stage combat. What started as a silly Darkest Dungeon playthrough has become a stable, if very small, Youtube channel. I more often make time to read and want to pick up drawing again. I find myself unemployed right now, but I have some big choices ahead of me so it might actually be for the best that I have some extra spare time to think things through. Still have nay'd any romantic advances anyone has been throwing at me and this is highly unlikely to change in the foreseeable future.

Yeah, we're still here. Somewhat. I think we still have enough people checking the boards at least once a week, but there isn't much activity going on. For me, I just find that either I don't have much to post about, or just don't really feel like putting in effort, especially when I'm checking on mobile.

Same HPD. My Christmas was bountiful and uneventful. Only one gift was unwanted (a small gift card to a fast food place I don't like). I'm not a fan of socializing with my extended family, as my interests and personality differs greatly from theirs, so I retired to my room to put together some much needed furniture. Racism and bigotry from family was kept to a minimum, as well as the time these people spent in my house (last year one couple stayed from 12pm to 11pm!). New GPU/SSD for computer, along with enough cash/gift cards to last me about a month.
