I don't really have resolutions as I find them counterproductive to my mental wellbeing for when I inevitably fail, however my list of things to do this year:

1. Start uni yo.
2. Find somewhere to live June - September
3. Probably give up smoking.
4. Lose weight again. I lost like 2-3 stone recently but put it all on again. Granted most of the weight was lost through stress but still.
5. Have a clearout. I appear to have become a bit of a hoarder. I basically need to half the amount of stuff I have, as literally everything I own is going to have to fit in uni halls in September

Mine is *cough* get a girlfriend should the chance so arise. Same as last year, so meh :P. I prefer I more idealistic resolutions about things that you can't fully control, but which serve as a benchmark of thing I want to be on the lookout for/put basic effort in. Now commencing finger-crossing.exe.

Too true on Normal. As I understand it, however, it can be beneficial to do such shenanigans on Hard or Lunatic/Lunatic+.

Hard for sure. Lunatic/Lunatic+ it's actually the opposite from what I heard. The kids are generally considered too little, too late and it's usually more worth it just to pimp out the main character and maybe a couple of others and use dark magic hijinks to blow through the game.

On the other hand, that last dlc gives you reason to min max your team all you want, even on normal. one example of dlc actually proving beneficial to the health of the game, tbqh.

I feel mixed about the game now. It got great visuals and the gameplay is pretty deep in a sense. But on the other hand, I think the current stat and skill system is a tad to simple to support extended grinding and min maxing. Most of the time, I'm watching my units fight. I'm aware I could limit myself a bit more but.. I hate games doing that to me. As a Fire Emblem I think the Path of Radiance approach might work better, on rails with limited battles, but much more fine-tuned and coherent in difficulty. Awakenings plot is slighty cluttered as well.

Can't believe I remember my password after all these years of inactivity.

Looking forward to another year of growth and fellowship! No resolutions, per se, come to mind although I would like to go to a baseball game where my team actually fudge wins for a change.
