WWE Hall of Famer Jake "The Snake" Roberts is currently unconscious in a Las Vegas hospital.

Roberts took a flight yesterday to attend a show in Las Vegas. Roberts passed out on the plane, and has been unconscious since. An ambulance was taken to the plane, and Roberts was transported to a nearby hospital.

I am told that Roberts has double pneumonia, and doctors have said that his lungs are filled with fluid and there is a mass on his brain. I hope to have an update soon.

So glad I didn't watch RAW last night, would have been a waste of three hours

I'm thrilled that I can get All The Action from just reading wrap-ups the day after, because I've seen all this crumpets a million times

See, given that Miz got his start on The Real World, Hollywood Miz is probably the most obvious gimmick in the history of WWE

Meanwhile, The Bellas, who are also "reality stars" are awful and need to put in a similar angle where idk just do straight Total Divas vs. Serious Wrasslers, you've done it forever already and maybe have them stop being whiny babies about it

Hell, make it "We have business sense and you are a dum-dum AJ" and then just have Paige and AJ run a train on everyone

Stephanie vs AJ is the feud people want to see, just for the slim chance it might drag CM Punk back.

See, I love Punk, but I really do want him to just stay gone. He was coasting that whole final feud, his heart wasn't in it, and if the current product is showing us anything it's that we *desperately* need new blood in the main event (not Main Event) scene.

Who was new in the six man tag on RAW? Reigns? Rollins? The Shield have gotten the push they deserve, but everyone else is either Old By Wrasslin' Standards or has had enough time in the limelight that it's time to put over some new talent (hey Randy). Then we had the ten-man on Smackdown with... The Wyatts and the current present Shield folks? Granted, that's half that tag (with 4/5 of the heels!), but the Wyatts exist as Cena fodder right now, and until they find out what to do with Bray (hint: stop putting him in feuds with old people that have nothing to do with the title) he's dead in the water. Can we also note that those tags serve as nothing more than "Cena is ready guys" matches? They are just for Cena? They help *no one else*?

WWE has a *great* crop of youngish talent on the roster right now. DBry's out for injury but the pop when he returns will be legendary, Cesaro is great, Bo is probably doing the best solo heel promo work on the roster, Ziggler is eternal, Shield, Wyatts, BNB, Woods, Big E, the BEAT GOES ON (especially when you start thinking about NXT call ups). The old people have to make room here; some of those guys need to feud for the US and IC titles (and you know, establish them as worth something, which no one has done since Zack Ryder), but several are ready for the WWEWHC *right now*, and all these old ass dudes need to get out of the way.

Dream match but makes no sense in kayfabe. Punk needs to go out as a heel and anti-hero babyface Ambrose has no reason to feud with him since they both hate the same people.

So NXT Takeover: Fatal 4 Way - which earned that, it earned not being mocked, name-wise - reminded me what it's like to *care* about wrestling and storylines.

I've felt upset at the end of wrestling pay per views before. Like, in the last year alone. Several times. But it's not because I *care* about the characters or what's going on, it's because I'm sick of the same old crumpets. On WWE-proper, I find myself doing what WWE doesn't want. I'm cheering for the heels and booing the faces. I don't *actually* care about anyone on the active roster plot-wise aside maybe Rollins/Ambrose, who have managed to do a remarkable job in getting me invested in WWE plots again. Daniel Bryan's dream run was the last thing until Rollins made us all cry that I cared about. It's like WWE is capable of sustaining one actual interesting plot at any given time, and only if they want to.

But Cena, a supposed babyface god-king? I want Brock Lesnar to slaughter him every day. In almost any matchup in WWE right now, I'll take the heel over the face. crumpets, WWE managed to make me want Miz to beat Ziggler on Monday, and that's a feat I thought they'd never achieve. crumpets, Reigns has been such a bland-ass wall lately that I find myself rooting for goddamn Randy Orton. Triple H and Stephanie, the new Mr. McMahon? Best people on the goddamn show.

But then you go to NXT, and I leave tonight's PPV disgusted and heartbroken. There was a heel turn tonight that I should have seen coming, but I didn't! I didn't, because I bought into this fiction so hard that I couldn't step back and be a crumpets about it and view it with my jackass critical lens. And I was livid about it. There was a loss tonight that broke my goddamn heart. NXT is amazing and wonderful and boy *fudge you* Triple H for making me think Devitt or Steen would debut tonight and having it be some other dude instead.

That said, said other dude squashed CJ Parker in like 10 seconds, so also god bless you Triple H

Last week

"fudge Ziggler"

This week, reading RAW recaps

"R-Ziggler, complete with trunks and ass-shake walk-down" "fudge ZIGGLER"

Figures Ziggler would be the *only* person to get me in the span of two weeks to finally leave WWE in disgust and then come back a week later.

The NoC card is great on paper, can't wait to see them fudge it up

Having Hideo Itami feud with the Ascension is the best idea, since they're the only people in NXT right now other than Neville/Zayn/the people in the title picture who can be presented as a credible threat to someone who spent years murdering people in Japan.

That said NO GET RID OF THE DOUBLE STOMP DON'T MAKE THAT YOUR FINISHER PLEASE

Dean Ambrose is probably the absolute best thing WWE has going for it right now

Even over NXT, because Dean can actually cut promos. Dean Ambrose single-handedly makes RAW worth watching. NXT is already worth it; no one can claim the amount of power and charisma Ambrose has.

Do you know when I was an OP player? When I wasn't in WWN and massclaims were legit good? Yea I miss the days I could force town to claim, rout out the mafia, and win the game for free day 3. Sometimes without being killed!
Senpai HPD notices me everyday when I'm town, do no scum play, and still get lynched day 1.
Anyway, it's time to go and ask people to claim and go lynch those who don't with my high-skill OP role.
