STAR WARS mafia - The Force Abides - MAFIA WINS

Post by HPD » Wed Dec 16, 2015 7:27 am

yeah, star wars hype etc

light side vs dark side OBVIOUSLY

DARK SIDE ROLES
palpatine/sidious - godfather
vader - can force choke people into silence so they can't vote
maul - roleblocker

LIGHT SIDE ROLES
luke - cop, if he finds vader, vader dies but luke loses cop
obi-wan - bodyguard, protects someone but dies upon saving, can deadtalk to someone to give them tiebreaker afterwards
yoda - bulletproof townie but dies of old age at start of day 3
han solo - vigilante ONE SHOT ONLY
leia - if she targets the roleblocker's or vader's target, roleblock/force choke resp is canceled out (can be both at once if they hit same target)
chewbacca - civ
c3p0 - civ
r2-d2 - civ
lando - civ

my padawans:
sven - dead - luke
airnike - dead - leia
narts - dead - c3p0
dragonite - lose - lando
mlad - dead - maul
pk - dead - yoda
deoxy - win - vader
treed - lose - r2-d2
linky - win - palpatine/sidious
satel - dead - han solo
q - lose - chewy
k - dead - obi-wan

Do you know when I was an OP player? When I wasn't in WWN and massclaims were legit good? Yea I miss the days I could force town to claim, rout out the mafia, and win the game for free day 3. Sometimes without being killed!
Senpai HPD notices me everyday when I'm town, do no scum play, and still get lynched day 1.
Anyway, it's time to go and ask people to claim and go lynch those who don't with my high-skill OP role.

Han Solo as vig confirmed. And I'll be in, looks pretty fun. Featuring HPD as George Lucas. I'm pretty sure people have a urge to lynch him too at times.

vader - can force choke people into silence so they can't vote
maul - mafia roleblocker
vanilla sith added if there's room
luke - cop, if he finds vader, vader dies but luke loses cop
obi-wan - bodyguard, protects someone but dies upon saving, can deadtalk to someone to give them tiebreaker afterwards
yoda - bulletproof townie but dies of old age at start of day 3
other jedi may or may not be vanilla, haven't decided yet

If Sidious targets Luke as a nightkill, but the same night Luke inspects Vader, they both die and the Light Side autowins, right? Riiiiiiight?

they would both die but the light side would not win seeing as at the very least sidious is still alive

Shouldn't the rebels be the mafia considering they were the ones who were being hunted in all the movies

''Don't explain the joke'', but.. I meant both Sidious and Vader would die because this chain of events is pretty much the Return of the Jedi climax. >_>

But this technical bit of info is actually quite useful to have.

It sorta depends on people's availablility during the holiday period. If more people are unavailable during that time it might not start for a while. However, if I do get at least 12-13 people in then we're good to go. I'll pull you out of the list for now and see how we go.

Alright, but please please stay active b/c a single inactive player can potentially ruin a game since I balance it to the precise amount of players.

Also still not sure on when to start. Sorta depends on ML I guess.

I prefer waiting for him. Otherwise the game will lull during christmas anyway.

And seconded on K needing to be active. To be blunt, your track record has you being less active then needed. I think good activity requires posting trying to post at least once a day if you have no activities preventing it(provided relevant posts are possible), and not being silent for longer then two days, with longer being okay, but not more then once a game. I don't like to be strident about it, but as HPD said, balance goes south quickly with inactives, and this has happened far to often the past year.

Look at first post for which roles have been distributed.

7 is majority. Have fun!
