War Room High Scores - AW2 Version

I decided to make this for the sake of completeness.

This is probably going to be more of a help topic/random advice topic, since all AW2 War Room maps have already been completed with 300 points for all COs.

For those interested in more details, there is a really old list of scores here:

Two scores aren't included there; this was an oversight on the part of kikutaro, who compiled those lists. The scores had been done (one of them by me) when he made his last update; he just overlooked them, and then vanished into the mists of time.

Anyways, if you do anything you feel is remotely interesting in the AW2 War Room, post it here. I can't guarantee that you'll be added to any lists, but now you have a place to post. Or, you can ask for advice on any War Room map that you're having trouble with.

Yeah the prob with that topic is that the file doesn't work good. But there's STL thread too. And if u're more interested in best COs scores (w/o perfecting) I think Japanese scores are better than those on the list.
Now go buying AW2 we need competition ;)

Advance Wars 2 Highest Scores

All this number of days are for 300 points.

The three "generations" are from:
1) GameFAQs (old high scores topic)
2) Asia (Hsheepro scores and Japanese site http://f22.aaa.livedoor.jp/~gbwars/cgi- ... i?file=aw2)
3) Cyberscore (see also STL's topic)

I made the choice to count a score for "all COs" when there's a common strat that has been played with blandie CO. However I think that the hardest CO has to be played separately even if the strat is sure.

Note that I didn't record the scores that looked very unmaxed yet.

I have recently made some serious checkings and improvements: all except Kanbei get Duo 7, Twin 8, Dire 11 (I even made this one with Kanbei). Kanbeit got Duo 8, Point 9 (using a forgotten APC trick that might be helpful in AWDS aswell), Bankers 8, and besides Adder got Eggs 10 through land way (maybe Andy and Jess can follow him). Besides we now need to recheck Land's End using STL's way...

Also, I got Spann 6 with money COs, and it made me thinking (but not 100% sure) that "all-Co" strat needs to kill city inf by attacking him twice with d1 recon, so that we can drop inf there safely (covered by apc and recon from enemy recon). Then we would need AI building a mech instead of tank+inf, I saw that happening randomly but dk the requirements. So if I'm right, Grit cant follow that strat :( ...

Btw, I'm wondering Dragonfogel why did u never send me the GameFAQs archived topics?

SCOP is mathematically impossible to charge (72k G. required and only 11k income), COP is also impossible to charge given AI’s movements, and due to AI always building Recon+BC on D5 it’s impossible to survive the HQ capture without COP (not that I was ever able to start capping, anyway)
