* FoW effects
* More armies
* Army Swap
* Removal of size cap

Known bugs
* River -> Sea tile priority is wrong
* Small graphical bug with shoals
* Painting on top of talon guns

Possible Future Features
* Weather effects
* AW Cursor
* Nest
* Animated sprites
* Army colour editor

I am currently open to suggestions for new features and/or what to add next.

Heeeey, this is looking good.

Any news of when you'll be incorporating the Pulsinatrix/Great Owl tileset into it, though?

Fix your links.

The paint bucket is a little odd, sometimes it won't fill in areas even though they're connected to the same section you've clicked on. This is accounting for things such as reefs having to be 1 space away from land. Furthermore I don't find it very practical but it probably has a use somewhere; would it be possible to have a block-in tool where you can click and drag to create blocks of terrain? If you just click a single spot then it would behave the same as the regular pencil.

Also, could you make the right mouse button do something else? I don't know about other editors but the one from CW has it copy whatever terrain you highlight, very useful considering it doesn't have the palette right there like standalone editors. As such, I don't know what it could do, but it seems like a waste.

Lastly, can the palette highlight whatever item you're currently using?

mental note, check things like this when copy-pasting things

Did you see this happening with anything other than reefs? it also only seems to happen for regular sea, it works fine for rough and fog... Very strange...

Seems like it should be possible, i'll add it to my future features list.

I'm sure I'll be able to find something for it to do

I was actually going to do this before I released it, but i sorta... forgot >_>

This looks nice. I'll give it a shot and maybe we can open a Days of Ruin map center here.

I just remembered: the CW editor has a Mirror feature. It's a little clunky but once you get used to it it can be very handy. Unfortunately, it's only a "folding" mirror, so it's not good for flipped symmetry like the multitude of competitive maps. Would it be possible to have a mirror function and, if so, can it flip as well as fold?

Someone should run that by uru for his super map editor too.

@ DTK - Thanks for the comment

@ DieselPheonix - a mirror feature is now on my to do list, but I don't understand what you mean with the difference between "flip" and "fold"...

Do you mean rotational symmetry?

Yes, rotational symmetry, I forgot what it was called.

I appear to be having trouble opening it. My computer doesn't recognize .jar files. What do I need to read them?

Nice editor, I hope to use it some day...

Oh wait, I've already trawled through it trying to find really elusive bugs. You should put up previous versions so people can make tanks float too.

I've got a few suggestions:
A 'series' mode (don't know what it would be called) where you can edit maps with the old sprites from the previous games, but it still saves as .aw4 so you can open it with the same player if you wanted to.
Music. If there's going to be a 'series' mode, then it could be the old versions of the map editor music for the old versions.
