Dad jokes are allowed

I have a good one:

you and your dad go to the shower

you ask: "what's that thing that pokes out"

he says: "it's a showerhead"

I'm slightly drunk so bear with me here but this reminded me of something

A couple of years ago Tinder became popular so i tried it out right. I never had much luck with it I don't think it was really my thing but anywho

One of the chicks that I matched with asked to add me in wsapp. Shortly thereafter she started texting me nudes

And there i was people. 21st century. Chicks texting me nudes. Like I'm no shutin I've had many girlfriends but most of them were prudes. This was my first taste of unknown Stranger amateur boobage.

And she wanted to see my dick.

I briefly considered it but quickly realized I'm not the type of dude to send dick pics. I string her along for a bit but she won't have it. Send me a dick pic or I stop sending tits.

I didn't and she blocked me. And that's my story with tinder people

I don't really use Tinder (maybe I should?) but doesn't really surprise me. I've seen enough interwebz to know there's nothing extraordinary about "these people"

Like there's a site in finnish that's about people sending their nudes online for everyone to see. It's full of average, ugly women posting their tits.

And there are plenty of "these people" on sites like 4chan etc.

Though there's probably also a good chance it was a dude

Oh yes, Tinder. I'm trying out online dating possibilities since as things are going now I'm going to get nowhere.

Been trying it since january as low-effort entry point to start my attempts with. I got only a single match in 3 months, and it was a New Zealand student who didn't reply and seemingly doesn't check tinder at all anymore(technically got two, but it was a superlike misfire on a girl who didn't interest me and who seemed to young). I know tinder is rather dumb, but wasn't happy about the lack of results. Meh chats I expected, but.. nothing at all is a little bit disheartening. Side effect is also that I feel like a shallow person swiping people just on looks if I don't find anything in the bio that catches my interest. At least I try to check bio's.

I wonder if my area has something to do with it. The part of the country where I live in is very heavily urbanized, and my city has a very high amount of students in it. That may make it more difficult to get random people to match up, but I don't know what Tinder algorithm does with it.

I tried OKC once. Filled out a bunch of quizzes. The people it matched me with were so demonic I was scared off from online dating for good

I was too paranoid to properly fill out my profile anyway (I mean someone might actually look at it). Not sure this online stuff is really for me

Now more sober (lol), yes, I agree, that was possibly a catfish or a hooker. Which is why I was reminded of it by Narts post.

When Tinder first became popular I think it was a legit dating tool. I had a couple of friends who got into relationships through the app. However those relationships were shortlived. It makes sense really: you match to someone through a few pics and a couple of lines of text. It doesn't get any more shallow than that.

While the app became more popular, I would not recommend it if you are looking for a relationship. Draggy, don't fret: guys get few matches while girls pretty much have a match with whomever they swipe. Most of the girls I know have a story about being propositioned for sex the minute they swipe right on a dude. It's the least amount of effort you can invest into dating, so don't expect it to be good.

I'm going to make a profile somewhere tomorrow(probably). I'm mostly a bit concerned about wasting money on more serious sites. Still, at some point I must take a gamble with it.
